Too biased to criticize it but rational enough to know most critics are full of shit. Michael Jackson was the greatest performer who ever lived and this movie felt like one long beautiful performance. Favoritism aside, I do have to say that the format felt a bit unorganized, there was way too much family screen time for my liking (not during his kid years, of course). Even though we got to see a lot from his human side, I think they could’ve shown more of the performative one, so many iconic shows, videos, songs, dances and voice lines were not included, literally broke my heart I didn’t get to listen to Smooth Criminal or Dirty Diana. Regardless of these few low points, Michael shows in such a fashionable and iconic way the *King of Pop. *Great performances from the main two leads, I’ve seen enough documentaries and music videos to understand the incredible work they did. Highly recommend this movie if you are a fan or not.
