Dopesick

I can't remember being this infuriated and mesmerized by a piece of cinema/tv in a long time. The story presented here is so unbelievably unjust, harrowing and devastating, and it is presented in the most captivating way possible, with a brilliant way of going back and forth between timelines and characters, exposing this bigoted, greedy and straight up evil system of corrupt and rotten men (and women) in their disgusting little suits. A system composed of people who see nothing but their own repulsive craving for worthless money, and will stop at nothing to get their hands on as much of it as they can. This series really moved me to my full range of emotions, and I'm certain it will stay with me for a long time. It is truly impossible to wrap your head around the fact that our lives all depend on the decisions of this rapacious pigs, selling us deadly drugs with prescriptions and pill boxes, while banning substances like Cannabis and other psychedelic, non-addictive sedatives. Also pretty fucking horrifying how the FDA's approvals apparently amount to shit and we're supposed to trust them regarding the vaccines we keep being pushed over and over again by governments and big pharma corporations.
