Station Eleven
“I remember damage, then escape, then adrift in a strange galaxy. But now I’m safe, I’m home again.”
It baffles me this was made during the pandemic and people were able to keep it together. It’s a beautiful tribute to humanity, to art, to community, and most importantly allowing one’s self to hold on and let got simultaneously.
I was hooked from beginning till end. And I do understand why some people don’t like this show. But I will always take character over plot, and I feel like I know these characters intimately.
I cried in the last episode. Life a full face covered in tears and I’m proud of it. These moments, moments where the true human experience are laid out directly in front of you, while you feel like you lived it, is unmatched.
Goodbye station eleven. I can not tell you how much you’ve done for me.
