Narcissus
there wasn't a moment throughout this whole movie that my eyes hasn't filled with tears, it's truely wonderful."Narcissus" is more than just movie it's story about a woman's journey of trying to find herself, trying to live past her traumas under a patriarchal society, it's about hinds path to liberation. But for me it's the light at the end of the tunnel because In a country where homophobia sneaks into every single aspect of our lives, and the only times we see queer characters in Tunisian media it's a humiliating misrepresentation used by directors for "comedic factors" that cheers for the oppression of an already opressed group I think movies like this are very important because it makes the agonisingly lonely queer experience in a homophobic country feel less alone and more tolerable. This is truely art.
