I know that this movie literally invented the summer blockbuster, but rewatching it is pretty unbearable Yes it's nostalgic but OH MAN It is basically two hours of a stressed out cop arguing with a mayor who refuses to close the beaches because "Amity as you know, means friendship" .... and apparently friendship means serving up tourists as a floating smorgasbord??? Gng are we serious right neow It’s an iconic movie which literally everyone knows and the theme music still slaps If anyone asked me I would say that it's worth a watch, but if you're looking for something that keeps you on the edge of your seat.. this one is a bit slow
