Someone was definitely having a lot of fun with the transitions

Can we please bring back actually colorful movies in 2026 (fuck you Nolan) (and your color grading too)

1. I recognized Hettienne Park from her role in *Hannibal* immediately so seeing her again was cool 2. That was the absolute least convincing car chase I’ve ever seen

This is one of those movies that just isn't that memorable. It started off extremely formulaic, which didn't change at all, but after the first half hour it got a lot more entertaining. I don't actually mind a film being tropey or derivative as long as it still manages to be compelling, which this one was alright at. The visuals are definitely a high point, but still in retrospect none of this movie feels distinct. I liked watching it after the first half hour, so it was a decent way to spend about two hours but not much more. It did annoy me that the protagonist's wife dies/vanishes to kickstart his narrative after like five minutes.
