The Hunt
The Hunt is one of the most frustrating films I've ever watched. Watching as you see Lucas get destroyed is just very hard to see. This also reflects how society is just very judgmental.
Not knowing the consequences of an action might lead to something uncontrollable
This is shown throught the character of Klara who clearly doesn't understand the consequences of what she said. She said something foolish and this led to Lucas suffering because of her words.
A bad news even if it is a lie, leaves a stain that cannot be removed.
People will turn against you even if you are really innocent, if they ever hear a one bad thing about you. Just like what the saying says that people will always remember the bad thing that you did and always forget the good things. After the accusations about Lucas was made they they only see what they thought he did even if it was a lie. Even after he was proven innocent the judgmental nature of people made it impossible to erase the stain of the false accusation.
As I was watching this film, I also asked myself "what if I didn't know that Lucas was innocent?" Thinking about it I would probably think the same as the people of the town did. It was a kid who spoke up about the issue which made it very believable and why would a kid say such things if she hadn't experienced it anyway.
