Breaking news: Pixar has a great original idea that is a great film and not sequelslop  Reminded me of Avatar (duh) and The wild robot also we bare bears was one of my favorite shows growing up no wonder I loved this

Man it kinda sucks not giving this 5 stars. Is it my favorite cbm? No I think I kinda prefer Tss or The batman or Hell even Gotg 3. Favorite animated movie? No ,as basic as it is I still think Wall-E is my absolute favorite. Favorite animated movie of that year? Also No, Isle of dogs kinda resonated with me more. Favorite spider-man movie then? Im not sure its either this or Spider-man 2 Maybe cause I got a little older, maybe pretentious, maybe my taste got different but while it’s still great I just didn’t adore it like I used to. I’m probably over exaggerating it since its a 4.5 but still. Visuals wise its a still a masterpiece but at some points I felt like it was a little too much but its not much of an issue. And I think some story could’ve been padded out more. This is still a great film but maybe its cause my opinion on “animation is cinema” just kinda soured since this was the main starting off point for that movement as great as this film was. Still Incredible regardless just wished I loved it as I used to.

Absolutely incredible film. That opening and around first 2 hours are incredible, but by that final hour I kinda can’t help but feel like it a lost a little steam. Pta’s uses it’s runtime incredibly well to flesh out all the stories where none felt bloated but at the same time I kinda wanted a bit more from some others. Overall still an excellent movie that’s just stacked

God this movie genuinely feels unreal. Theres no fucking way a movie this damn good should exist at all
