Great stuff. Cool to see how a lot of this film inspired the creation of Star Wars. Just an awesome story, characters, work building, and overall film. I love the dynamic between Tahei and Matashichi and got funny and stupid they are. Another awesome Kurosawa film. Also Toshiro Mifune is just THAT good.

Awesome theater experience. Forgot how funny and ridiculous Looney Tunes was.

My first introduction to Sergio Leone and the Fistful of dollars trilogy and safe to say it was awesome. The framing in the shots is amazing, the setting and set pieces are good, and I thought the score was great for what is was trying to accomplish. I thought the writing for Clint Eastwoods character was great and it was cool seeing him play everybody and just being dope in the process. Also wanted to say that one kid was so annoying. “My mistake, 4 caskets.”

Another watch part of the Studio Ghibli Fest that AMC is doing and this really surprised me. This was a master class of world building; from the underground mines, to the hills of the overworld, the skies, laputa, it’s all amazing. The relationship between Sheeta and Pazu is also amazing and is up there for the best in Studio Ghibli. Thanks you Hayao for another beautiful film.
