WOW i did not expect this from a movie targeted to kids!!
this barely ever felt like a kids movie when watching it but i’m so glad it is marketed as one. i know i would’ve appreciated watching something like this as a child so much, as i did ”Inside Out”. that movie changed my brain chemistry when i first ever laid my eyes on it and i'm so glad children today get something even better. this movie is so important and tells such a wonderful story. everything about this is so sweet and really makes you rethink a lot of your own life. i kind of regret not enjoying everything so thoroughly after watching this. makes you view things so much differently. even though life has obstacles that seem hard to come by, at the end of the day you have a life that IS worth living. amazing image to put into young children’s brains. i love it.
also would like to note that my soul DID transcend when subterranean homesick blues started playing. holy shit, i cannot escape bob dylan even if i try. can’t tell if it’s a blessing or a curse.
