Demolition

every single jake gyllenhaal edit i have seen on instagram, twitter, or tiktok, includes that scene where he's got his headphones on and he's dancing through the city streets. i'm not sure why. demolition isn't one of jakes more popular movies, and it seems that most people dislike the movie in general; finding it unfinished, unclear, and a frustrating experience. but i watched this movie late one night and i found that in an odd way this movie is able to rise above its technical faults and 'poor' plot. i find this movie incredibly sweet and an amazing snippet of what grief feels like for many people.
