***“Be prepared, just when you think you’ve found your way, life will throw you onto a new path.” *** I never got around to watching this so I have no nostalgic bias for it, the pros are that it didn’t bore me, it’s good to see the characters return even if it’s in a unnecessary sequel, and the cons aren’t that wildly bad it’s just kind of mid for me. The soundtrack was a big downgrade though. That one backstreet boys sounding song Kristoff sings?… Jesus Christ that was tacky.

Just got back from the cinema, this is the first movie I’ve seen in theatres since Spiderman across the spider verse back in June 2023 I think. And I was not used to the Spatial Audio, I’ve only watched movies on a laptop or phone for 3 years basically, but anyways I thought the story was really good, I was never really bothered by the negative trend this had built up, and after seeing it I was right to not give a shit. I’m not caught up on my mythology, so I was going into this story blind, but long story short, I wanted to view a good story, and to me that’s what I got. I’m really bad at film analysis, especially after first viewing, so I can’t really unpack the themes as much as I would’ve liked, but it’s all in my head being processed subconsciously anyway, so it’s fine.
