Fallen Angels

That was amazing. There’s something about this film that just hits the spot. A pretty film combined with great acting and a surprisingly satisfying ending. Both stories were interesting and so different from one another that I never expected for the worlds to interact so often as I was used to Chungking Express and how separated the stories were. The hitman story felt like a music video, plot was relatively simple but was paired with insanely beautiful visuals. The other story was incredible plot-wise, it was funny, wholesome and sad at the same time. It had such serious themes that were written so well into the plot while having such a great actor play it so well to truly show this character’s innocence and naivety. This might be my favourite film as of writing this.
