Little Forest

I adore this film. You either love it or hate it. It's a very comforting film, with the main character either cooking or doing tasks around the farm a lot of the time. It's an honest romanticisation of the country life, showing a glimpse summary of both the good and the ugly of a rural town. The story explores a strained mother-daughter relationship, and though it isn't a complex plot, it is both lighthearted enough to fit the overall calm tone of the film and intriguing enough to not bore you. Accompany that with a tension-free love triangle and you get such a cozy movie. Cooking scenes were so satisfying to watch and the farming scenes were so wholesome. Absolutely loved it.
