I never consciously reflected on the switch up portrayal of black stereotypes when it was convenient to white people. Sickening stuff.  A must watch film for people who don’t think history is that deep… because it always is.

I had to check the date of this numerous times because it’s so representative of what’s happening today. The only difference when watching was the question of whether someone voted for proposition 187 has changed to who they voted for in last electron.  I know many that immigrated back to Mexico out of fear and family that feared losing their parents while at work. This documentary hit home for me.

That t shirt collection goes SOOO hard. I love a good sciencey, friendship, and Ryan Gosling film.

The film is just so beautiful. The situation so tragic. I’m glad to have finally experienced this emotional film.
