Forrest Gump

Took a few days after watching to review it
Wanted to give it a good review.
Forrest Gump is one of those movies that sticks with you long after it ends. I loved how Forrest just lives life his own way, doing what he wants without getting trapped by all the social expectations that weigh down everyone else.
The movie is a rollercoaster of emotions; heartwarming in moments of redemption, like lieutenant Dan but heartbreaking too, especially with the death of his mother, Bubba, and Jenny. The ending was perfect, coming full circle to that first scene at the bus stop.
I also liked how the film tackled real issues like the Vietnam War and the peace protests, showing serious parts of history through Forrest’s simple, innocent eyes.
Overall, it’s touching, funny, and a little heartbreaking. A classic story about an ordinary man living an extraordinary life.
Worth the watch.
