Inglourious Basterds

Tarantino doing a WWII movie was always going to be cool and Inglourious Basterds nails that balance between tense, hilarious, and sad. The little historical/cultural touches were great, like the whole three fingers thing giving away he’s not German. That whole scene was so cool in the sense that it was tense the whole way through. and those tiny details make the scenes even cooler. Christoph Waltz as Colonel Landa was amazing. He made the whole movie so much better and nailed that balance between polite and deadly. Brad Pitt was so funny too, especially when he was an Italian lol. “BAWNJORNO”  Climax was great as well, just pure chaos and some vengeance as well, felt oddly satisfying. The end as well, with the colonel getting what he deserved.  4/5 Loved the vibe of this.
