Scarface
A literal masterpiece. Al Pacino really showed out as Tony Montana, a guy who is smart as hell but lets his ego and thirst for power ruin everything until karma finally hits. He’s the ultimate "started from the bottom" mobster who refuses to compromise his pride or his morals for anyone.
Manny’s death absolutely wrecked me, especially seeing Tony immediately regret it. But let’s be real, his arrogance made this ending inevitable. He only realizes why he’s totally isolated and hated when it's already too late. Even when he's completely defeated and frustrated, he still stands his ground until the very last second.
the cinematography is also Gorgeous. Almost every single frame looks amazing. Plus, that score that just drops out of nowhere keeps you on edge, making you wonder what's gonna happen next and ramping up the tension perfectly.
