Malcolm X

A brilliantly crafted biopic that accurately honours the great Malcolm X, and all that he has done for the black liberation movement. Denzel Washington powerfully captures Malcolm's essence with passion and conviction. Every scene was made purposefully to show Malcolm's developmental timeline throughout his life. Most importantly, this film shows you Malcolm X's life. But it doesn't showcase his life through the lens of the media (who labels him as this violent, controversial figure), but through the eyes of the people around him. We see him through the eyes of his loved ones, friends, and mentors. This has to be one, if not the best biopic I have seen.
