hella mid. ok seriously it has its issues as in the female characters, the fight scenes (the sonny and abusive husband one is mental) and the middle can get kind of lost if youve not already got an idea of the plot, but lets be honest; imagine watching that in 1972, thats as perfect as it gets. 5 star film in terms of legacy and content 3.5 star film in terms of enjoyment and initial understanding
