Titanic

this movie is so special to me. idk why i lied with my former rating. this movie literally altered my brain chemistry the first time i watched it after gaining consciousness. i went home right after and made leo my laptop background and was obsessed with that man for the majority of my life. i would still go to battle for him simply because of his role as jack dawson. it was so bad that kids at school would tease me for being obsessed with “the guy from the titanic with the weird name”. i cried when i googled kate and leo and found out they weren’t together irl. this was one of my first favorite movies. i still have the dvd in my closet. jack’s cigarettes, his drawings, rose’s outfits, the necklace, the steamy car, the loogie-spitting scene, the old couple, the band…titanic (1997) kept me up nights and i don’t know why i insisted on acting like it didn’t! this is my truth! ty james cameron and happy birthday!
