some of these may be biased because i am unforch in the film and my boyfriend is the director and on screen boyfriend, but overall, the film is fun. i think there are some points where the film is slightly unclear, and these are a few inconsistencies, such as characters appearing in scenes they werent in before, or small details such as glasses or clothing, overall the plot is very entertaining. the story takes overt inspo from its sources which is fun to see as a fan of these medias. additionally, the colour grading is great, and shows the decrepit area and era the characters are in. my main grievance is about the acting, not only my own but certain people’s who take you out of the experience slightly, but for a student film, i think its well-made and the music choices throughout the film and the trailer are great. good job!
