Blindspotting

HOLYYYY HELLLL this was so good. Genuinely perfect script top to bottom. AMAZING comedic and dramatic chemistry between Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal. Manages to make you uncomfortable for the entire duration even when the story on its surface feels like it shouldn’t, but it’s all in service to Collin’s well-deserved breakdown at the end. It was shocking for me to hear that people didn’t like the rapping in this movie because that take kinda undermines the entire theme? But yes this was an instant favorite and Daveed Diggs is rapidly ascending the ranks of my favorite actors list (and favorite creatives in general).  Entry 1 of 3 (maybe 4) in a row that I feel weird adding Community quotes to
