Knives Out

“…Because Harlan gave me all your resources.” GOD DAMNNNN THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!! Easily the best Knives Out cast, the production design is so so good, and the tightest script of the three films. One thing I felt was missing from Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man was an ensemble that was truly at each others’ throats, overflowing with hatred, passion, love, and annoyance for each other, but I was spoiled with such an emotionally-saturated ensemble cast in Knives Out that that’s hard to beat. But I NEED more “Walt shaking cookies in Ransom’s face while the entire family screams at him” moments in future Knives Out installments. Also, what a nice reminder that Chris Evans is indeed a good actor — this is EASILY his best role. Community quote: “…And so it is bequeathed.”
