New foreign film #11 of 2026 (Goal: 52) Country of origin: India Language: Telugu This was a WILD RIDE and I have sooo many thoughts so here are several reviews I cooked up for this one: - I understand that this is globally the Parasite of India but still… is this the greatest film ever made or do I just need to watch more Indian movies - y’all mind if a white they/them speaks a little Telugu 👄 Naatu Naatu - I ceased to exist about an hour in and didn’t fully regain my identity until it was over (yes including the intermission) - this felt like a King Gizzard song where I had the experience of “oh my god this is the most incredible insane shit ever—OH MY GOD ITS ONLY HALFWAY OVER????” - we HAVE to gatekeep Indian cinema from CinemaSins. HE CAN’T GET AHOLD OF THIS - I activated my TMJ from my jaw dropping so hard at the title sequence (a whole FORTY MINUTES into the movie) - I can’t wait for corporations to drill the internet into our brains so I can watch this on the back of my eyelids every minute of every day !!!!! THANK GOD I SAW THIS IN THEATERS !!!!!!! Community quote: “She’s a good kid and a better shot.”
