Adolescence
Everyone can agree that the acting and cinematography deserve all the flowers. Highly impressive to pull it off so smoothly. I lowkey enjoyed being anxious most of the time; but that just made me ask more questions. The last episode had closure and processing but maybe adding a few more episodes would add more depth to the characters. Such as how Jamie processed his decision; what factors affected him during the other months? Or perhaps, what ever happened to the victims family or to the victim’s back story? We’re so focused on the suspects motives but not the victim’s story. It’s very one-sided and it felt as if the last episode was rushed. At the same time, it’s sickening and saddening that this is the reality amongst a lot of young people. This film should make people realize if they are equipped to be parents, if they’re considering.
