Eternity

At first, I couldn’t help comparing it to other films and series by how they resemble the concept of after life and similar themes (e.x. The Good Place, Loki, etc.). The concept eventually become interesting easily as the viewer was also placed on the spot to process how to react to such situation. Each side was given fair game to explore the positives and negatives of being in the relationship.  The actors each gave a superb and entertaining performance, which is why it was difficult to choose a side. Although the easiest and most idealistic option was to go full Challengers (2024).  This film inspired me to write my first Substack essay on whimsifying relationships through “play-play”. It was my way of debriefing and processing my own views on maintaining relationships—platonic, intimate, and familial. I gained clarity in my own path just by watching this film.
