FUNNIEST movie. like i’ve seen far too many reviews grilling it for its potty and explicit humour, but clearly they lack key whimsy. nothing more INCREDIBLE.
world-building is absolutely off the charts, music was euphonious and positively upbeat and engaging, and character design was immaculate and thought-out; all of this setting up such a neo-futuristic landscape and this unique vibe that i couldn’t get enough of. (ratchet and bigwell were also VERY fine idc)
only complaints would be the cliche battle sequence, even ROBIN WILLIAMS was too much, and the lack of development between some of the relationships (like cappy + rodney, bigwell + rodney, etc) and the pacing a bit slow.
otherwise my FAVOURITE childhood movie. i was truly onto something about 10 years ago
