I love Dort and all the cinema references :DD

Of course I had to see such a "marvel-blockbuster" on the very first day! The visuals and cinematography was absolutely stunning and I really enjoyed the movie overall, though I would have loved a deeper dive into Peter's whole spider-DNA dilemma, I feel like in the end it was brushed off as something that wasn't super important. Overall story-wise so much happened, yet so little progressed, hence why I took away a few points in my star rating. Still really enjoyable, though!

bad script, zero depth and so many important things missing. Just eh.

> "Wie siehst du denn aus? Biste gerannt?" 'Run Lola Run' is one of the few gems within german cinema and I am glad that I can say a movie like this came from my homecountry. Starting off incredibly strong cinematography wise, the movie switches to a messy animation to start the movie's opening, immediately hooking me in terms of creative direction. I loved how no remotely important character in the movie was painted as a 'saint' or anything of that matter—all characters with a notable amount of screentime get introduced with mugshot-like pictures in the movie's intro and then, when Lola os running past certain people, it tells the fate/story of said people which not once has made those look like a perfect or good person. The whole cinematography had me hooked, I am truly a sucker for the late 90's indie movie style. Story wise I enjoyed the concept of Lola's ability to start over once things went too far south, but simultaneously keeping her memories from the previous attempt. The way those attempts were seperated from eachother by this 'cuddle'-scene where either Lola or Manni were potrayed as an overthinker while the other pulls them out of it was a great idea to keep the tries seperate. I could talk about this movie for alot longer, definitely a film worth watching.
