This is essential viewing for anyone trying to understand Mitski’s relationship with her fanbase and the music industry. The premise of her being a "drug sitter" who absorbs everyone else's trauma while remaining completely isolated in a sterile room is such a heavy, beautiful metaphor for being a musician. When "Thursday Girl" started playing, I actually got chills. 10/10.
