Dune
It was time for my yearly rewatch of Dune and this time in particular to prepare for Part Two next month. Having seen Dune four times now, it gets even better every time for me. This is one of the best looking epics that I have ever seen from the desert to the sandworms to the explosions during the Harkonnen’s attack. Greig Fraser went crazy on the cinematography and helped Denis create a gorgeous film.
The cast is absolutely stacked starting with Chalamet to Ferguson to Isaac, Momoa, Skarsgard, Bautista, etc., and they are all awesome in their roles. Great performances and beautiful world building made Dune my #1 movie from 2021 and is my #20 of all time. I have my opening night tickets to Dune 2 and I can’t wait.
