all people who are saying director/main character is nazi clearly don’t know much about the director and his views and the purpose of this remarks about central asian/american/jewish people. this film is about how war can destroy a young person’s mind to the point he doesn’t know what to do when the war is over and acts like it isn’t. so sick of russian propaganda trying to pervert this movie and sergey’s characters. balabanov and bodrov are probably spinning in their graves because of this.
