LOVEEEEEEEEEE. one of my fav romcoms like ever. great story, great characters, great chemistry, and just such a fun watch. also just generally a great premise for a romcom? it's so niche and you just don't see interesting premises like this nowadays. one downside I can say is that the sister was so insufferable and I did not hear a single apology come out of her mouth the entire movie. like is the powerpoint mean? yes. BUT SO IS CUTTING UP YOUR MOTHERS WEDDING DRESS?? the one that YOU SISTER has dreamt of wearing for her wedding? jail. honestly I just think Tess did not face the consequences she should've had for her actions towards Jane. Anyway, that aside, it's a great movie. it's just the right amount of corny(?) for me that it comes off as charming rather than cringe. predictable conflict (in a good way) with great emotional payoff. such a banger.
