Rewatched. This is a completely different movie on re watch. It definitely is one to make you think but that’s one of the best things about it. I love the editing style it constantly breaks continuity and leaves you feeling uneasy the whole time. Does it have edgy 2000s techniques and vibes all over it yes but I love it.  I remember on first watch i was so unimpressed by Naomi watts and Ewan mcgregor they felt really flat compared to gosling but now I get it and it makes sense for them to act the way they are given the films outcome.
