Before Sunset

Before Sunset was the perfect sequel to Before Sunrise. 9 years later, both characters slowly becoming more and more vulnerable towards each other. I do love watching this relationship grow, even though they aren’t together in a romantic way in this film, it’s obvious they’re still attached to the day they first met. I think the day they first met is everything that’s holding them both together (obviously) as they slowly build off of that day/night, realising they never learnt who each other really were in a deeper way. This film was both characters opening up to one another about how they really feel, whether it was in song, writing, or conversation.
