Have the lambs stopped screaming? What an incredible movie. Anthony Hopkins performance is so cold, calculating, and terrifyingly hypnotic. Despite being jailed and locked away more than the majority of the movie, he somehow manages to be infinitely more menacing than the current rampaging serial killer. Two hours of incredible back and forth dialogue. Lector and Clarice exchange power and control in continuous flow strictly through speech and it impresses me in magnitudes. Loved Jodie Fosters accent in this as well.

this movie was nothing like the game at all but it was so much fun. the dialogue was a bit weak at times, especially during the exposition, but i could care less once we got to the time loop. honestly i wish we saw all thirteen nights that they had been there but i know i know, the movie would’ve gone on for years if so. my girl megan really got done dirty light years beyond everyone else. if this wasn’t advertised as an Until Dawn movie, I think the reviews would’ve been much higher.

how terrible it can be to dream. to live a life in pursuit of moments only available to us in a time that doesn’t exist. when we wake, there’s a bitter taste left over and a suffocating weight of hope that pulls directionless, deep within your chest, burdening you for the rest of your life.
