WOW, I would never expect that a movie about kidnapping someone who is an alien can go this far and deep. I enjoyed every dialogue in this one!! Emma and Jesse are such great actors, I was completely amazed by their performance. I also see myself in Don like I’m literally him if I were in that situation, clueless, curious, and have no idea what the fuck should I do. What I like the most about Yorgos’ films are the usage of B&W for certain scenes (which highlights the important parts of the story), the saturated and vibrant cinematography, and the score which perfectly fits his weird and quirky plot and that just makes the whole cinematic experience and atmosphere better, felt like I was transported into his world. The ending definitely answered my question which I used to wonder a lot back then “what if the world just stops spinning and humans suddenly stop moving?”, with the bees still moving, it’s a great depiction of how the earth wouldn’t exist without nature. It looked so surreal and felt like a fever dream, just PERFECT. I hope Emma and Yorgos universe will never be separated, please keep making weird surreal movies like this!!!
