Jarhead

My first time watching a Sam Medes film. I think I wanna watch more, I loved his work in this film. This movie was better than I expected even though war movies isn't my fav genre but I liked this one because it reminded me of the film full metal jacket. What I liked most was the message it told us about how men in the war can do things that will impact them with personally either from Ptsd from the war or once was a time where they risked their time away for their friends, families and relationships. It shares such a emotional story throughout the movie. I also loved how Jake Gyllenhaal expressed how he felt during most of the drama scenes, it was like I was seeing myself in them which added on a relatable sense. I think in every movie that I see him in. I always relate to him in some ways. Anthony: You will always remain a Jarhead. PS: This is apart of my series of watching all movies with Jake Gyllenhaal because he always makes a movie better in some way.
