Shirkers

"Then I reliase what it is, there's a man at the back of this place" - Blue Velvet. Georges Cardona who is the total opposite of what exactly "Shirkers" was supposed to be about dreams, time capsules and reality of time turned into a mysterious madness. Sandi tan who is the director of this documentary when she mentions the movie "Blue Velvet" directed by David Lynch. It felt like a bit of a foreshadowing on how men got impacted in "Shirkers" as well based from what I quoted above. Unfortunately, there are some cruel directors like George who are selfish enough to go rouge by using woman as their art piece to complete their egos. I am heartbroken on what Sandi, Jasmine, and Sophie had to go through. The fact this documentary was never meant to exist in the first place but was made specifically because of a men actions is absolutely terrifying.
