Over hated

Nah I’m freaking pissed. I was trying so hard to not compare the book to the movie. It’s not fair but for crap sake, YOU’VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. They messed up all the freaking depth that the book had. First having Scarm who had a wife and kid was so important, as well as being the one who was sick, cut. Ray and Stebbin being the last two so freaking important because freaking Ray was so scared of him, cut. The two indigenous twins, they cut one of them. Then they cut the BEST scene of the whole book. I’m livid. The large crowds watching, cut. Jen, cut. The real reason why Pete got his scar, CUT. IM HEARING A LOT OF CUT AND NOT ENOUGH ADD, LETS MAKE SURE WE KEEP THIS BECAUSE THE SYMBOLISM IS FREAKING KEY TO THE STORY. Nope, they told everyone who enjoyed the book to pull their pants down and take it. They also ruined Ray. They switch Ray and Pete, sure fine, whatever. But it wasn’t needed. A book from 1979 doesn’t need a fucking plot twist. Stick to the fucking book because it’s speaking about what’s HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THE WORLD.  I just kept thinking maybe this isn’t supposed to be the long walk we read about, maybe it was a different one. Giving them the benefit of doubt but fuck no. NO. They missed up and I’m mad. There’s a few things I like but they aren’t even worth mentioning. CUT THE WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE. CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT.
