Wicked

Todd Phillips just wishes he could do a musical this good. As a huge fan of both the Wizard of Oz and the original musical, this film is another example of a musical done right. The idea to split it into two parts certainly was a smart move, since it gives us more world building and more depth to all the characters. Not to mention that Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande do their respective roles justice with great singing and acting... and a lot of gayness. The set design is also wonderful and evokes the beauty and magic of Oz perfectly. Certainly destined to become a classic and I can't wait for Part Two.
