After Life
I've only watched this once before, years ago. it resonated with me then as a young adult, and it resonates tenfold now. more life has been lived and perspectives have shifted, and this remains quietly poignant and profound. always makes me think of the one memory I would take with me, and how grateful I am to have memories to choose between, to have lived those kinds of moments— moments that could appear meaningless to some, but infinitely significant for others. I always love that many of the people recalling memories aren't actors, and are actually sharing real memories. it all feels so grounded and honest.
it's the small details that make up one's life; it's mundane, and it's beautiful.
