Chan Is Missing

*"here’s a picture of chan hung, and I still can’t see him.”* I can't explain why, but I liked this almost immediately. it's structured really well and it’s framed interestingly as a neo-noir mystery while exploring what it means to be asian immigrants living in 80s america. stories of cultural identity and assimilation always speak to me, and this was no different, and I appreciate that the characters were all pretty multidimensional too. havin a good time making the most of my 7-day trial on mubi lol
