The one major complement and praise I have for this film is the music. A lot of musicals like this films structure follows a simple pattern: Plot development . Music number , plot development , Music number , rinse and repeat until the credits roll. Whereas this film the music and songs are so baked into the very DNA of the films script that you are never to far away from music. That makes the film truly a musical and Is very fitting for a modern retelling of *The Phantom of the Opera. *
