I really enjoyed this. i loved the first one, and while 'here I come' was not quite as good as the original, it was still a strong sequel. i particularly liked how it started as an immediate continuation from the first; this made it much more enjoyable. the whole 'evil satan cult controlling the world' premise is definitely cliché, but it can be as ridiculous as it wants because samara weaving is SUCH a good scream queen, and is the best part of both movies. kathryn newtown was also really good in her role. just the fact that all of this happened in under 50 hours is insane and they wasted no time getting straight into the action, which i appreciate. no drag, action-packed from the first minute. overall i love both the 'ready or not' movies, and this was a lot of fun! #eattherich

trash but had a weirdly good soundtrack and colour design for such a shitty movie. would perhaps watch it again as a dumb comfort movie because it was very forgettable.
watching this poignant, in depth, and saddening critique of capitalism and how it desensitises society. the insight into the systemic coercion and illusion of choice for women in prostitution. and then going straight into watching episode 21 of love island s6 is a weird sensation but this episode gets better with every rewatch.

*“It's easy for a girl to kill a lot of people. There's no reason why soft breasts and thighs should keep her from killing everybody to stay free or defend herself!”* this film is visual poetry. and I don’t think I could ever get sick of the anna karina / jean-paul belmondo dynamic. I just wanna run away with some loser poet and kill some people and travel across the mediterranean and be alive.
