Honestly feels like FOMO, in that I can’t skip an MCU title without fearing something will somehow come up later on down the line and I’ll have no clue what it means since I didn’t watch the title that it originated from. I don’t hate it. It’s so funny that after all the discourse around how lame the MCU “breaking the forth wall” jokes have been that Kate Bishop shows up to literally go through them all like a checklist (and I’m sure she hit every single one!) Couldn’t say I was bored though, but when you have projects like The Batman in theaters, showing audiences what you could do with a superhero property, why bother wasting time with this? And you might be wondering why I even bothered with it, if that’s what I’m thinking. Well… maybe I need a little inspiration to continue the filmmaking dream. And what better way to do it than to remind yourself of all the gunk that our huge studios are putting out? That’s my rationale at least.
