Why did Nikki become the midnight barber at one point

The time and effort that was put into every single aspect of this movie is admirable, especially because you can tell how much every single person who got to work on it loved the franchise and wanted to do it justice. Most of all I loved how Suzanne called Francis and Nina because they are such an integral part of the franchise , and everyone who has worked in the movies in the past was eager to come back one more time.
