Sinners

Sinners is a once in generation masterpiece. Ryan Coogler and Ludwig create one of the best sound atmospheres I have ever experienced. One of the best original stories I have had the opportunity to experience. Michael B Jordan puts on two great performances as the SmokeStack twins. Newcomer Miles Canton plays preacher boy a sharecropper with an incredible talent for blues music and delivers one of the best performances of recent years. The story brings you in and keeps you locked on off the rip. Ryan Coogler blends in so many cultural folklores and traditions and creates a beautiful crossover that captivates you the entire time. Coogler explores themes of race and music spirituality of the Jim Crowe era by mixing in traditional Vampire folklore with a bit of that Bayou Hoodoo culture from the southern part of the USA. Definitely Movie of the year and its not even close. Everyone and anyone should definitely make the effort to see this film.
