High and Low

Wow. This movie stunned me for its time period. A lot of the stuff is socially aware and still relevant today, much of it involving classism, I see a lot of influence that Bong Joon Ho might’ve got from this movie. The blocking and stage direction was very eye catching, and the motivated camera movements with what’s happening in front of the camera reminds me a lot of Memories Of murder (Bong Joon Ho). The structure of the story is very compelling and strong, making the action sequences very intense and intriguing. Would recommend.
