Steve

Finished this movie after a long day at 1 am.  Cillian Murphy plays a headmaster who’s barely holding himself together while trying to hold everyone else up. Its a little cliché with teachers who care too much, boys yelling.  The school is full of noise and chaos but it still hits. The post clarity after watching it is like when watching a flatline on a heartbeat monitor.  Maybe its bc of how quiet and sincere it is.Or maybe even the way mix of exhaustion and kindness is depicted in Steve’s eyes. Raw and messy, yet human. Trying his best to hold up.
